The Science Club at Neshaminy High School, advised by Gale Donohue, is proud to announce that students from the high school entered the Science research competition at Delaware Valley College on March 11th, 2014.

Junior Solomiya Syvyk won 2nd place in the Behavior and Social Science division performing her research on “Sleeping with your Memory.”
Freshmen Payal Patel and Jaslin Tharakan won Honorable Mention in the Behavior and Social Science division performing their research on “Can Eye Focus” comparing vision and focal points with people who wear glasses and those who do not.
The students made a research plan, performed and compiled their research using data tables and graphs along with writing a scientific abstract.

All students were interviewed at the competition to ascertain their knowledge and level of competency of their experiments. Miya, Jaslin, and Payal will now compete at the Regional Fair at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA on April 2nd, 2014.
