The wait for audio recordings of Bristol Township School Board meetings will continue for a bit long.

Due to an upcoming change in web hosting providers for BTSD.us, audio of the bi-monthly meetings will not be ready to be posted until the new website is competed, which Superintendent Dr. Samuel Lee said would be around the end of the school year in June.

“Internally we’re alright,” Lee said on the audio recording quality. The quality was blamed for the delay late last year, but the superintendent said most of the audio issues have been worked out.

At previous board meetings, residents have asked for video recording. However, board officials have said that option in just too expensive for the cash-strapped district, which serves all of the township’s 54,000 residents.

The district website where the audio will be available for the public will be redesigned and allow the district to “better communicate with everyone,” Lee said.

The current district website has been online for at least two years. Lee said school administrators have access to their respective sections of the site. He said he hoped the new design would make access and posting easier.
