The slogan often associated with Dunkin’ Donuts is ‘America Runs on Dunkin.”ย That message will likely be coming to Bristol Borough soon.
LevittownNow.com confirmed on Wednesday that a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise is planning to start serving the community soon on Mill Street, a high-traffic shopping district in the borough of around 9,700.

The Marucci family, which has owned 125 Mill Street for about 40 years, has agreed to lease out the property to the chain, David Marucci said Wednesday.
The property owner said a lease has been signed but opening date has yet to be announced for the business known worldwide for its coffee and donuts.
“It’s a great thing for Mill Street and the borough,” Marucci said.

With spring edging closer, big things are expected to happen in the heart of the borough business district, Marucci said.
Although specifics of the deal and plans of when the national coffee chain store will be open are still up in the air, Marucci did say, as yet identified franchise owners, take on the Mill Street location on June 1. For now, he said, they would like to keep out of the public eye.

A group of borough residents and business people, lead by Bill Pezza, have been working over the past several years to rejuvenate the street into a shopping corridor. The efforts recently received a boost when parts of the business district were named a cultural district by the borough council.
Attempts to reach the Dunkin’ Donuts’ corporate office for comment have been unsuccessful.
