Langh0rne-Middletown Fire Chief Frank Farry said the fire was out by roughly 6 p.m. and left “moderate” damage but was habitable.
No injuries were reported and remains under investigation by the fire marshal.
Firefighters had to be careful during the blaze because the chimney was about 35-feet-tall and the home had a steep roof, Farry said.
