A Levittown man is in county lockup on 10 percent of $100,000 bail after police arrested him for aggravated assault, DUI, fleeing or eluding a police officer, simple assault and related offenses.

Mark Radhi, 35, is accused of attacking his girlfriend, leading police on a chase through neighborhoods and then threatening them with a knife as he dragged his unconscious girlfriend early Friday morning.

Bristol Township police responded to Disk Lane in Levittown after a caller reported an argument happening inside a Toyota SUV around 3 a.m.

An officer arrived and Radhi and drove off in the SUV. Officer Howard Biddulph began relaying the vehicle’s location on police radio, according to court papers.  Another officer found the SUV a short time later and multiple police cars followed it with their lights and sirens on, court paperwork said.

The pursuit went through Levittown section for at least 10 minutes before entering into Tullytown and onto Route 13 before the SUV went off the road and struck a guard rail at the Millcreek Road off-ramp in Falls Township, police said.

Radhi got out and tried to drag his girlfriend, who was injured, toward a wooded area, police said. Falls officer Jarrod Eisenhauer gave Radhi an  order to stop but he did not, court papers say.

Radhi then pulled a knife over his head in a “threatening manner” toward police. He only dropped the knife after Eisenhauer fired his Taser twice, according to court documents.

Radhi’s girlfriend was bleeding and had facial lacerations, police said.

According to court papers, Radhi was suspected of being drunk at the time of the incident. Two beer bottles were reportedly found in the SUV.
