As a major winter storm approaches the area, several local towns declared snow emergencies.

Bristol Borough

Bristol Township

Officials declared a snow emergency from 12 a.m. Thursday until 12 a.m. Saturday. From the township:
Residents are to remove all vehicles, trailers and boats parked on township roadways to allow for clear passage of snow plows and emergency vehicles.Vehicles, trailers, and boats left parked on township roadways during the Disaster Emergency will be subject to ticketing and towing by the Bristol Township Police Department.
Falls Township

The fire marshal declared a snow emergency beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday and expiring at 9 a.m. Saturday. Vehicles and trailers are to be removed from the street during the snow emergency. Officials say police will be enforcing the ordinances.

Penndel Borough
Penndel Borough Emergency Management asks residents to remove all vehicles from streets after snow has begun to accumulate to allow plows to clear snow. Sidewalks should be cleared within 12 hrs. after snow has ceased to fall.

Middletown Township
Middletown Township has declared a Snow Emergency for the winter storm expected to impact our area starting tonight and throughout the day tomorrow.
All vehicles are to be removed from the streets starting one hour after the snow begins to fall until 24 hours after the snow has stopped falling. Vehicles are to be clear of driveway aprons and sidewalks as well. Violators will be fined. Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.

Tullytown Borough
The borough is under a snow emergency declaration from 11:30 p.m. Wednesday until 11:30 p.m. Friday. All cars must be removed from public streets. Temporary off street parking locations are the Tullytown Fire Company, municipal building and Levittown Lake lot.
