According to police, the victim arrived at the Tullytown police station on Main Street with blood running down her face and neck in September after she said Boyd attacked her.

Police found Boyd as he jogged in the area of Cheston and Lovett avenues. In court papers, the officer wrote that he exited his vehicle and Boyd appeared to have a “scrambled look on his face.” He was then taken into custody.

Boyd refused to answer the officer’s questions but did admit later that he was drinking earlier in the day after the he was asked why he smelled of booze, police said.

As she tried to call 9-1-1, Boyd grabbed her phone broke it and threw it, she told police.
