Pennsbury High School students will be holding their annual Prom Fashion Expo Thursday at the East campus at 7 p.m.
The event raises funds for students who can not afford all the luxuries that come along with the school’s senior prom in May. The event is organized by the Fashion and Hospitality Marketing class and featured more than 50 students.

Pennsbury High School student Hailey Ingraham explains:
On the night of our Prom Fashion Expo, with a small entrance fee, students, parents, and local community members first walk through our hallway of vendors. We have a number of local vendors who set up tables to promote their products or services. In addition we also sell raffles for all different types of products/services from a free manicure to local restaurant gift certificates. After, attendees enjoy a fashion show of senior students. They wear locally donated dresses to promote the use of our school’s Cinderella’s Closet, for those who cannot afford dresses, as well as buying dresses from local stores. In addition, the students’ hair is also done by local hairdressers or those from our Technical High School.
Pennsbury teacher Joscelyne Jones said the event should be a good time for all.
LevittownNow.com attended a rehearsal recently. At the actual expo, the students will be decked out for the fashion show.
