The investigation into who shot a 23-year-old Morrisville man in Falls Township just hours into 2014 remains open, police said.
While the gunshot victim is expected to recover, investigators are still working to gather information on his shooter, police said.

Lt. Nelson Whitney said last week that New Jersey law enforcement are cooperating with Falls police and assisting in the investigation.
The man was shot around 3 a.m. on January 1 inside a unit in the 300 building of Wellington Woods Apartments on Sweetbriar Road.
A heavy police presence was reported in and around the apartment complex following the shooting.
