The First Federal Bank of Bucks County presented gifts to Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the United Way, both of Bucks County. The donations totaled close to $100,000, it was announced recently.
The contribution to the organization that supports Bucks County children and youth is to help with providing volunteer and professional services in order for local youth reach their maximum potential as they grow and become contributing adults in their communities.

“We are very pleased to be able to continue our support to the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Bucks County and recognize the significant good they do for the children and families in our community,” First Federal’s President and CEO Jeane M. Coyle said.
The endowment for the United Way of Bucks County was raised by the First Federal’s employees and board of directors through an annual campaign. The contribution, to the agency that is dedicated to working with a diverse range of people and organizations in an effort to identify pressing issues and challenges in the community, was an increase of $8,700 over the community banks contribution in 2012 which was then matched by First Federal dollar for dollar, bank officials said.
“We’re pleased to be able to offer this much needed support to the United Way of Bucks County,” Coyle said. “This donation was made possible by the by the caring and dedicated team members and our board here at First Federal.”
