A visit by a probation officer lead to the discovery of a child living in a Levittown house with heroin needles and pills lying out in the open.
Tullytown Borough police were dispatched to the 200 block of Lakeside Drive early last week after receiving a call from the adult probation officer who made the discovery when performing a probation check on James Pasco, 28. Pasco has a record of theft and public drunkenness cases throughout Lower Bucks County.

According to police, hypodermic needles used for injecting heroin and several white pills were found steps away from where Pasco’s 10-month-old baby daughter sleeps. The arresting officer noted in court papers the pills were close to being within accessibility of the baby.
“The conditions of the bedroom where the child sleeps put the child in a clear and present danger due to the needles being in plain view,” court papers read.

Pasco admitted that he has been doing heroin for an “extensive period of time,” police said.
Court documents do not say whether the child is still in the care of Pasco.

Pasco lives in the Lakeside Drive house with his 20-year-old girlfriend the baby, according to court papers.
The 28-year-old was charged with endangering the welfare of children, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and is free of $50,000 unsecured bail.
His girlfriend is not currently facing any charges related to the incident.
