Penndel police are on the hunt for a man who assaulted a woman working at a business on Noeland Avenue Sunday afternoon.
The female worker was alone at a manufacturing business taking boxes out the back loading dock in the 10 block when a man in his 20s came up and demanded money around 2:30 p.m. The two engaged in an altercation, and the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries to her face and cuts on her knuckles from a box cutter she was carrying, Chief of Police Joseph Sciscio said.

The suspect reportedly ran off toward the train tracks on the Penndel and Langhorne Manor border.
Langhorne Borough police and an additional agency assisted Penndel in the search for the suspect, who made off with a “small amount of cash,” Sciscio told LevittownNow.com.
The suspect is described by police as having long, brown hair. Sciscio said a more detailed description is not currently available.

The chief said police are currently following up on several leads.
