JUST IN: Driver of SUV Dead Following 413 Crash

The man driving a black Chevrolet SUV that slammed into a UPS tractor-trailer Thursday in Bristol Township has passed away.

Donald Yarnell, 22, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, died at the hospital following the crash that happened just past New Falls Road on Veterans Highway (Route 413), Acting Bristol Township Chief of Police Lt. John Godzieba said.

The 22-year-old’s SUV crossed the center line and struck the front of the unmistakable brown cab of the UPS truck at 3:51 p.m. What caused the SUV to slam into the truck remains under investigation, Godzieba said.

Godzieba said Yarnell was transported to an area hospital via ambulance and pronounced dead there.

The driver of the UPS truck was reported uninjured.
