NEARBY: Man Attempts to Rob Woman on Christmas Eve

Morrisville police are on the lookout for a man who attempted to rob a woman on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

The attempted robbery happened at 2:47 p.m. Tuesday at the Bank of America ATM on West Trenton Avenue.

The suspect walked up to the woman and attempted to grab the keys from her hand. “Give me the keys and you won’t get hurt,” he allegedly said to her in a Russian accent.

The quick-thinking woman was able to start screaming and press the alarm on her vehicle, police said. The commotion, according to authorities, caused the suspect to run north on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8, 170 pounds, blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a hoodie.
