The survey found 55 percent of pet parents plan to spend more than $31 on holiday gifts, and 15% plan to spend more than $75. In 2013 alone, the American Pet Products Association estimates pet owners will spend $55 billion across the nation on their furry loved ones.

Survey respondents’ gifts to their furry family members ranged from toys and treats to one person stating their dog will be getting a first-class trip overseas.

If you’ve been to a pet supply store recently, you can see the large pet holiday toy sections that have sprung up.
