Volunteers worked last week to give local homeless families a break.
The folks at Family Promise of Lower Bucks treated homeless families at Family Service Association of Bucks County’s Emergency Shelter in Bristol Township to a few hours of enjoyment. The temporary residents were able to take part in fun activities and enjoy some food. Local businesses chipped in to donate treats like cookies.

Family Promise of Lower Bucks works to place families in their program into self-sustainable independent housing.
“All of the organizations that provide services to the homeless work together to try and eliminate people not having their own home and FPLB concentrates it’s efforts on school-aged children,” Vice President and Director of Development and Community Engagement for FPLB said.
