A man was uninjured Friday morning when he fell through a set stairs in a common area at a Falls Township apartment complex.

Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito confirmed that emergency services were dispatched to the Commons of Fallsington apartments on Makefield Road late-morning Friday for the incident. Scanner reports indicated the man had fallen just a few feet below the steps.

Fire trucks, EMS and police were dispatched. It was determined at the scene that firefighters and their special rescue equipment were not needed and they were recalled, Falls Township Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said.

“He was removed and there was no need for more help,” Dippolito said.

McClellan told LevittownNow.com code enforcement was called to look further into the incident.
