Tuesday morning at 6:26 a.m. that training along side two officers from the Tullytown Police Department, medics from the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and firefighters from the Tullytown Fire Department came together ย and saved a man’s life, officials say.
A 55-year -old man working at Atlantic Concrete ย on Old Bristol Pike passed out and went into cardiac arrestย while he was operating the company’s forklift, officials say. The group of first responders acted quickly and decisively in bringing the man back three times.
Officers Ron Ernst and Paul McManamon. arrived first after receiving the call and began CPR until firefighters and medics arrived, Tullytownย Chief of Police Daniel Doyle said.

“Four of our firefighters were there next with our Quick Response Services Unit and assisted,” Tullytown Fire Chief Rick Johnson told LevittownNow.com.ย “The rescue squad arrived with paramedics and began advanced treatment,” Johnson said.
Johnson and Doyle both praised the efforts of their personnel in saving the man’s life.

“It’s a job well done for police, the fire department and Levittown-Fairless Hills,” Doyle said.

George Redner III, Nicholas Redner and Joey Redner, who serve alongside their father George Redner Jr. at the fire department, all worked the medical emergency.
The three brothers working together and within the team structure to assist ย in the successful life sustaining effort said is definitely something special and unique, but each made sure to point out the save was an effort by all first responders on scene.ย

The Redner’s father listened intently as each described the experience, later saying the dinner table at home is like being at the firehouse because of the family involvement in the department.
Captain Robby Woram, the brothers noted, should also get credit since he asked Redner III to direct the life saving efforts because of his background as an EMT.

As of last check, the man who suffered the medical incident was listed in critical condition at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
