The Bristol Borough School Board will hold its reorganization meeting Monday at 6 p.m. as newly elected members will join the board.

Enthusiasm about the members has been growing since the results came in on election day.

Kelly Cochran, David Chichilitti, will be sworn in as newly elected members. ย John D’Angelo and School Board President Ralph DiGuisesppe III will also be sworn in as board members who were re-elected.

The state requires school boards to reorganize the first week of December and for Bristol Borough significant changes are planned and expected since there is a “new majority” who will be running the board.

Publicly, it has been acknowledged on social media that Charles Groff will be nominated for president of the board, followed by Kelly Cochran being nominated for vice president.

On Friday, Groff refused to comment about his nomination for president saying only, “I’m there to serve the interests of children as a school board member and If I am elected I plan to serve the kids in the best way I know how.

Groff declined to comment about exchanges he and outgoing DiGuiesspe had last weekend in a social media discussion group where ideas were being discussed about issues related to the school district costs and budget.

School district sources have said other changes are coming with some being presented at the reorganization meeting on Monday, however, specifics were not provided.
