A 19-year-old Philadelphia man will serve two years probation in connection with a incident involving the father of his 16-year-old girlfriend.
Naayfir Gorham was sentenced to two years probation and no contact with the victim by county Judge Rea Boylan last week. He plead guilty to a charge of simple assault. Charges of carrying a firearm without a license, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct were dropped, according to court documents.

In July, police responded to the Rock Springs Apartments on West Trenton Road in the Morrisville section of Falls Township for reports that a gun was drawn during an argument.
Gorham was accused of pointing a gun at the father of the 16-year-old he was dating. As of the preliminary hearing date, police had yet to recover the gun allegedly pointed multiple times during the incident.
The argument happened over when man confronting Gorham because he was dating his daughter.

Police from multiple agencies responded to the apartment complex after reports of a subject with a gun were called in. Gorham was arrested the following day in Philadelphia.
