Tweets Save Schuler from Elimination on ‘The Voice’

A few minutes of tweets from Matthew Schuler fans saved the 21-year-old from being cast off NBC’s “The Voice” Tuesday night.

The Instant Save from fans across the nation helped Schuler remain in the competition. He went from being the episode’s bottom three to now be part of the Top 6 contestants.

The Pennsbury graduate sung “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons on Monday night’s show. Christina Aguilera, Schuler’s coach, picked the alternative rock tune for the former Sesame Place employee and also employed backup dancers to add another layer to the performance.

The Top 6 will perform Monday at 8 p.m. on the series. The show’s winner will be crown sometime next month.
