A pickup truck and Cadillac CTS were involved in a two-vehicle crash that tied up traffic on Route 1 in Middletown on Monday.
The wreck happened at about 8:10 a.m., according to PennDOT, and closed the southbound lanes of traffic for 50 minutes. By 9:10 a.m., the damaged vehicles were off to the side of the road and delays lingered.

Ambulances were called to the scene, according to scanner reports. It is unclear as of press time if anyone was injured. Firefighters and Middletown police also responded to the scene.
The accident caused pretty large delays on the highway headed toward Bensalem. The delays extended past Langhorne and to Maple Avenue (Route 213).
