Robert Nagle, 33, of Philadelphia, is accused of ย inappropriate contact with a minor. He was in Bristol Borough District Court Wednesday for his preliminary hearing.

Nagle, according to court documents, attended a dance sponsored by St. Thomas Aquinas on March 15, 2013 where he allegedly touched a young girls “bare breast” at the dance.

Bristol authorities further ย investigated the incident by interviewing two witnesses, both juveniles, at the time.

One girl told authorities she saw Nagle reach out and grab the breast of the victim while they were dancing. The second witness told police that she saw the defendant ย standing face to face with the victim, and reach out towards the 13-year-old.ย  One of the girlโ€™s told officers that she didnโ€™t see Nagle touch the girl because her friend pulled her towards the DJ booth but did say Nagle had attempted to engage other adolescent girls at the dance, ย police ย say.

Nagle was asked to leave the dance by the chaperones present after they became concerned about his presence there, court documents say, however they asked to meet with him prior to leaving the social gathering for teens. Nagle, one of the chaperones told police, quickly left the dance before being confronted.

Two girls provided descriptions of Nagle to policeย court records say and investigators developed Nagle as a suspect then showed the victim a male photo array in which she identified Nagle as the man who grabbed her breast.

Two of the original charges Nagle was facing were dropped and the charge of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age was waived on to the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

Nagle is scheduled for arraignment on December 6 in Doylestown. A trial will likely follow.
