Beer Kegs Stolen, $8K Burglary & More Reported in Middletown

Police in Middletown are investigating several crimes reported in the past week.

A home on Brownsville Road was burglarized sometime during Wednesday. Police said coins and jewelry worth about $8,300 were taken.

A few days prior, a home on South Clearview Avenue was burglarized. Cash, jewelry and a camera were taken, police said.

In crimes that impact local businesses…

Between October 30 and November 1, police report a lock was cut off a storage shed and stole 8 beer kegs from the The Irish Rover on Bellevue Avenue. The kegs are reported to be worth $240, police said.

During the overnight on November 1 into November 2, an air conditioner unit was stolen from the roof of Rugers Beer and Soda on New Falls Road, police said. The value of the stolen unit was reported to be $8,000.
