According to police in Penndel, officers were dispatched to Walker Avenue after a resident reported seeing a man stack several chairs and use them to make entry to a neighbor’s house.

Court documents state the man the neighbor saw was entering his own mother’s house. Police said Schroeder has not lived in the house for two years and was not invited.

Officers approached the house and heard yelling coming from inside. As the officers entered through the back sliding glass door, they heard a loud crash and saw Schroeder exiting out the front door, police said.

Schroeder ignored verbal commands and had to be taken to the ground using force, police said, adding that the 30-year-old continued to resist.

Police said the loud crash they heard was Schroeder pushing over his mother’s 32-inch TV set.
