A man was arrested recently by Tullytown police for allegedly stuffing a calculator in his pants in an attempt to steal it.
Police responded to the Levittown Walmart in Tullytown on October 11 at 7 p.m. for a retail theft.

Walmart security staff told police a man – later identified Julian Mcclease, 52, of Bristol Township – selected a calculator from the stationary asile and shoved it down his pants. The man then made no attempts to pay for the item and walked out of the store, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Store security was able to stop Mcclease and escort him back inside the store until police arrived.
Court papers say that Mcclease gave them a false name, date of birth and a Levittown address when they asked for his information. While being processed at the Bristol Township police station, Tullytown authorities said they discovered the man’s true identity.

Mcclease was charged via mail summons last week with false reports, retail theft and receiving stolen property. He is set to have his preliminary hearing on November 26 before District Judge Robert Wagner Jr.
