Lieutenant Governor Jim Cawley, a Levittown native, was rushed to Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania’s capitol city after feeling off Monday late afternoon, according to various reports.
PennLive.com said the 44-year-old former Bucks County Commissioner began “feeling dizzy and light-headed while presiding over the state Senate.” A nurse looked over the man who is a heartbeat away from leading the state and told him to go to the hospital, CBS3.com reported.

The lieutenant governor’s chief of staff told PennLive.com his boss was awake and had no other serious symptoms at the hospital.
A spokesman for the lieutenant governor said was undergoing tests and his wife, Suzanne, was with him, a story posted on ABC27.com said.
Cawley, a Bishop Egan High School and Temple University graduate, was in Bucks County on Friday afternoon to speak about the county’s growing tourism industry.

Cawley was current Governor Tom Corbetts running mate in 2010 and is in his first term. He is married and has one young son.
