Falls Township police are investigating an armed robbery at the Rite Aid on New Falls Road.
The robber walked in the store in the 8700 block of New Falls Road at around 7 p.m. Saturday night, police said.

Lt. Hank Ward said the suspect is white male wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. It was unclear as of press time as to whether the suspect had his face obscured.
A handgun was reported to be used in the robbery.
The suspect took off toward Tyburn Road in a white car, Ward said. Police have a partial plate number for the car.

Detectives were sent to the scene and working to see if there is surveillance video of the robbery.
