Original Story:

The westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike heading out of the Levittown area were closed as of 12:55 p.m. Wednesday due to a flipped tractor-trailer.

The crash happened on the westward acceleration ramp and is now forcing all Turnpike traffic coming Bristol toward Willow Grove to exit at the Bensalem exit. Eastbound traffic appeared to also be impacted by the crash.

Scanner reports indicate that the commercial truck was hauling trash and may be leaking fuel onto the highway. One person was transported to the hospital, 6abc.com said. The crash was reported just after noon.

Images from a Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission camera showed a large wrecker attempting to upright the truck at 12:40 p.m.
