
A Burlington New Jersey man decided to help himself to a bunch of aluminum from a local framing company Saturday Morning and now faces theft and receiving stolen property charges.
Early Saturday morning Bristol Township Police were dispatched to the Ace Design Company onย 320 George Patterson Blvd for a theft in progress, court records say.

The complainant ย told police he observed a dark ford pickup truck stealing aluminum out of a container in the back of the framing store, further adding that while driving a forklift he saw a male loading the merchandise on to the ford pickup, police say.
When the suspect became aware, police say, he was seen, he jumped into the truck and took ย off down State Road towards Bensalem.
Bensalem Township police stopped a ford truck matching the description given by the witness, on State and Street Rds. The driver of the vehicle Emmett Riddickย ย 53 of Burlington New Jersey truck bed was filled with aluminum, court records say.

According to police the witness was transported to the scene and positively identified Riddick as the man who stole the aluminum merchandise valued at approximately $6300.00.
Riddick was taken into custody, charged and sent to Bucks County Prison with bail set at 10 percent of 30,000. and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on October 30.
