A teacher at Bristol Township’s James Buchanan Elementary School was one of the recipients of OfficeMax’s A Day Made Better program, which pays tribute to teachers.
Fifth-grade teacher Lynda James won personal gift, including a Kindle Fire, digital camera and label maker, according to the school district. Buchanan received nearly $2,000 in school supplies from OfficeMax.

From the school district:
Responding to a request from the Fairless Hills Office Max, Buchanan Principal Patty Williams chose Ms. James randomly from a box that contained the names of all the teachers in her school. Ms. Williams wrote to Office Max describing Ms. James’ teaching skills and she was chosen for the award.
The A Day Made Better program is part of nationwide initiative by OfficeMax.
A teacher at Pennsbury’s now-closed Village Park Elementary School received a similar package last year.
