State Rep. John Galloway, D-Bucks, will host a senior expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at Westaby Hall, 425 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills.

There will be a number of free health and wellness opportunities including blood pressure and hearing screenings.
“This expo will bring a lot of information, which can benefit seniors and their families, in one place,” Galloway said. “Flu shots, which will be provided, are also an important piece to staying well during the winter. I encourage seniors to sign up and get theirs now, before the flu season gets into full swing.”
Representatives from a number of government and non-profit agencies and Flu shots will be available for those who sign up with Galloway’s office before the expo.

Military veterans can get a veteran’s ID discount card. They will need to bring their DD-214 discharge certificate to the event.
Seniors also can sign up for their free SEPTA pass. Door prizes, giveaways and light refreshments also will be available during the event.
