Newtown Borough police Officer Brian Gregg was killed 8-years-ago Sunday at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
Gregg was a well-liked officer in the borough and grew up in the Levittown area. At the time of his death, he was just about to hit one year on the small police force.

Robert Flor of Falls sits on death row for the murder of the officer, who was shot after Flor took the gun from a fellow Newtown officer and shot him, Gregg and a hospital employee after he was transported there following his arrest for DUI and punching his girlfriend. A large manhunt ensued after and Flor was found hiding in a car on the hospital grounds. Flor was revealed to have had several run-ins with Falls and Middletown police.
Gregg is survived by his wife and son.
