“Nothing about your account will change,” the bank says on their website.
Santander Holdings announced the name change back in July.
Sovereign Bank was purchased by Santander Bank in 2009 after Sovereign had been having trouble for years. In the time since the purchase, Santander staff have been working to overhaul the bank.

“Under the Santander name, we will marry the local insights and relationships of a committed, community-focused bank with the breadth and expertise of a major global financial institution,” Carlos Garcia, chief corporate affairs and communications officer at Sovereign Bank and Santander Holdings, said in a statement.
Santander Bank will operate several other branches throughout Bucks County.
