The man told Quimby to stop and an argument unfolded. As the man retreated to his room, Quimby followed him and began kicking objects in the room. Quimby then grabbed the man by the neck and began strangling him, police said.

Quimby went back to his room after he attacked the man, police said.

When officers spoke with Quimby, he would not speak about anything that happened, according to court papers. Officers noted that the 32-year-old was intoxicated and had a fresh scrape on his elbow.
