Investigators from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are investigating a prisoner on prisoner assault at the Doylestown Township facility that houses men from around the county.
District Attorney David Heckler said no charges have been filed at this point. He added that he could not provide more details on the incident.

The incident happened last week at the prison, Heckler said.
It was not confirmed the extent of injuries, if any. The hometowns of the prisoners involved were also not reported.
The county jail has been dealing with overcrowding over the past several years.
