Two men employed by a Bristol Borough yarn company turned themselves into the authorities Wednesday morning on robbery, theft and conspiracy charges at Bristol Borough District Court.
Ira Dixon, 44, of Philadelphia, and Tom Foley, 37, of Levittown, from January 2009 to July of 2012 stole custom yarn from the Bristol based Plymouth Yarn Company in excess of $ 2,000, police allege in court documents.

An internal investigation by the yarn company revealed the theft, which was reported to Bristol Borough police, court documents say.
Sgt. Joe Moors met with the suspects, the probable cause affidavit says. Both Dixon and Foley admitted to stealing the fleece and later selling it on eBay and making $200 to $1,000 per week from the sales of the stolen material, police said.
Each faces felony charges of theft, conspiracy, receiving stolen property and conspiring to receive stolen property with bail being set by Magistrate Frank W. Peranteau, Sr at $40,000 unsecured.

Dixon and Foley were processed and released and have a preliminary hearing set for September 25 at 10 a.m.
