Sunday Morning Fire in Bristol Twp. Ruled Arson by Fire Marshal

A fire that destroyed an empty home on the 2300 block of Edgely Road was ruled an arson by Fire Marshal Kevinย Dippolito Sunday morning.

Multiple fire companies responded to the fire call ย in the ย two-story dwelling ย aroundย ย 5:45 a.m Sunday morning, according to scanner reports.

The blaze, Dippolito said,ย  “started in the back right-hand corner of the empty residence.” The house is currently on the market for sale, he added.

The investigation is being turned over to Bristol Township detectives, according to Dippolito.

In the daylight, the charred remains of the two-story structure made clear the origin of the fire where long streaks of singed wood were visible on back right edge of the home.

There were no injuries to report.

Fire Companies responding to the call were Edgely, Croydon Levittown One and Two, Third District, Morrisville, ย Newportville Tullytown, and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.
