A woman who was knocked unconscious after her car was hit by a vehicle that ran a red light at the intersection of Durham Road and East Lincoln Highway in Penndel on Monday is out of the hospital.
Police Chief Joseph Sciscio said the man behind the wheel of the vehicle that struck the woman as she crossed the intersection on Durham Road will be facing vehicle code charges for disregarding the red signal.

The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. and send the woman’s car into a pole.
The man was uninjured in the crash.
The intersection of Durham Road and East Lincoln Highway is known among locals for its high rate of accidents.
