A store employee provided police with a description of the man, who was stashing small body wash bottles and cosmetic items in a bag, police said. A CVS employee confronted the man, Kerns Campbell, who dropped the bag and took off running with the employee ripping Campbell’s shirt off following in hot pursuit, court documents say.ย  Campbell ran out of ย the store going north on Route 13, according to court papers.

A witness to the theft chased the suspect and saw Campbell jump over a fence into a backyard on Nancy Drive, police said.
