An area man has been charged in an incident where police say he broke into an auto repair shop lot and took his own car.
Joseph Speece, 27, of Fairless Hills, was arraigned last week on charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief. He was sent to county jail on 10 percent of $10,000 bail.

Tullytown police responded to E & G Auto Body on Main Street in early July after the shop called to report a red Mercedes was stolen from their lot.
The car sat in the lot since it was towed there following a nearby DUI traffic stop in February, police said. Speece was charged in April for that incident and will make a plea in county court in late August, according to court documents.
The lot owner told police that the lock was cut from a gate and the Mercedes was taken, authorities said.

Investigators said they were unable to get in contact with Speece and entered the vehicle in the national stolen vehicle database.
Last Wednesday, the vehicle was found when Falls Township police pulled it over and found Speece behind the wheel. The 27-year-old has a suspended license, according to court papers. Police said they spoke with Speece and he admitted to using bolt cutters and taking the car.
