A two car accident in July, involving a woman alleged to be driving under the influence, ย led to some unsavory language directed at authorities during her processing.

Bristol Township officers were dispatched to Magnolia Drive and Myrtle Lane in Levittown on July 2 to investigate the accident in question and found three adults sitting on a curb and ย two vehicles with damage , one against the curb with two juveniles in it, court records say.

Officers asked each of the drivers for their license. One of the vehicle operators , Tracy Walsh, 36 ย (at the time of the incident), of Levittown, began to walk towards the middle of the street mumbling a response to authorities request for her information was directed to return to the curb, police records say.

Walsh was then asked by police if ย she had been drinking, which she denied, although the officer doing the questioning noted the smell of alcohol on the woman’s breath, court documents said.

Police continued to ask Walsh is she had anything to drink because her responses were slurred and the second officer on scene also noticed the odor of alcohol emanating from her breathe. This lead officers to ask one final time and Walsh again denied the observation of officers. Walsh’s husband told her to “stop lying that she was making it worse,” the affidavit states.

Police asked Walsh to participate in field sobriety and that she had no medical conditions related to her legs and was not under arrest at that point in time, police say.

According to police, Walsh stumbled three times attempting the nine step ย heel ย to toe test voluntarily putting her hands behind her back for officials to arrest her.

While awaiting processing at headquarters, Walsh got into an argument with another woman, who was also under arrest. She attempted to confront her physically, however, authorities intervened quickly, court records say. ย About 20 minutes later, Walsh informed an officer that she was going to be sick to which one of the police department’s employees assisting withย Walsh’s processing said she hopes she doesn’t have to smell it. Walsh then called the employee a racially charged name and then told to “shut up” by officers in the office.

A police official told Walsh she would have to spend time in a holdingย  cell if she did not cooperate, according to court documents, and the Levittown woman apologized.

Walsh was processed without further incident.
