ย Goldenridge Town Watch tonight be hosting a neighbor watch event for the entire community from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday as part the culmination of ย the National Night Out (NNO) campaign.
The NNO ย initiative, which seeks to strengthen communities through ย heightening crime awareness, creates support for anti-crime programming, ย empower police community partnerships while sending a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Members of the Bristol Township Police Department and council are expected to be on hand for a ย community walk set to start at Orange End and go to Goldenridge Drive. The event is organized by the town watch group, which is made up of concerned citizens.
It’s the 3oth year for the NNO. Last year’s event ย involved over 37 million people from over 15,000 communities in all 5o states, U.S territories, military bases, worldwide, a press release from NNO said.
“This is a night for America to stand together to promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity,” National Project Coordinator Mark Peskin said.

Target, who is the national sponsor for the event, is donating a $50 gift card to the Goldenridge Town Watch so its ย members can distribute bottles of water and assorted snacks during the walk this evening.
Community members are asked to walk and keep porch lights on during the walk event tonight.

“On National Night Out, we invite neighborhoods to join us and “give crime a going away party,” ย Peskin said.
