In the aftermath of two 18-year olds drowning in a local creek, I was extremely surprised to see this guy fishing in the Delaware River. All photos taken with a 70-300mm lens so there isn’t any perspective distortion from a wide angle lens. Not only did he not have any type of floatation device, he was alone. At one point, he stumbled and lost his footing causing everything from his shoulders and lower to become submerged. There wasn’t even a Port Authority guard on duty at 2:30pm.
