‘Anus’ Spray-Painted on Church

The former Resurrection Lutheran Church on Oxford Valley Road in Middletown Township was vandalized with graffiti over the weekend.

A back wall wall at the empty church, which is currently being prepared to open as Emmaus Road Church, featured “ANUS” spray-painted onto the brick. By Wednesday, the graffiti was covered over and barely visible.

Police said the graffiti was reported Monday morning and the value of the damage is unknown.

The church has been a haven for vandalism and mischief in the past.
