A fire that damaged a house Sunday afternoon on Park Avenue in Bristol Township is under investigation.
Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the blaze started on the side of the house by the driveway and spread up the outside and into the basement. Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames before they spread further.

While the fire remains under investigation, Dippolito said it does not appear suspicious at this point.
Firefighters responded to the 300 block of Park Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. for the call.
A neighbor saw the smoke from the fire and alerted the man inside the split-level home, Dippolito said.

No injuries were reported.
Sunday’s fire came just less than 24 hours after a bedroom fire in Bristol Township.
