Cops working the midnight shift in Bristol Township responded to Blueridge Drive at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday after a man called to report a domestic in progress.

According to police, a man who rents a room at a house in the 90 block of Blueridge Drive informed authorities that the husband and wife who lived in the home were having a fight in the rear bedroom.

An officer entered the home and heard a woman screaming, an affidavit of probable cause said. The officer added in the court documents that he could also hear “sounds of someone getting punched.”

The man – identified as Keith Busket, 30 – was on top of his wife, who laid on the floor on her back, police said. The woman, according to police, had her hands raised and was trying to defend herself as Busket punched her.

Officers were forced to physically remove Busket from his wife, police said, adding he was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
