According to authorities, the manager of the auto shop contacted police Monday to report that the shop was burglarized Sunday morning at around 1 a.m.
The manager told police the suspect broke in to a desk and stole $1,511.48, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Detective Doug Slemmer. Video cameras inside and outside the building captured the suspect, who the manager recognized to be Naccarato, police said.
On Wednesday, Detective Slemmer spoke with Naccarato. The 34-year-old admitted he was behind the burglary and theft from the shop on Sunday morning, police said, adding that Naccarato gave specific details on how he entered the building and used a screwdriver to break the desk drawer.

Naccarato, according to police, said he used the stolen cash to pay bills. They added that Naccarato said he stole a “toll book” from the desk and threw it in the trash.
Police said Naccarato signed a written statement admitting to the theft.
The Rob’s Automotive manager said Naccarato was a former employee at the shop and was terminated in March.
