It didn’t take thieves long to target Angelo’s place on Mill St. in Bristol Borough.
The up and coming recently opened breakfast lunch spot was robbed late Sunday going into Monday morning , business manager Daniella Gigante said Monday afternoon, after she reported the incident to local authorities.

Gigante’s frustration was apparent, when discussing the incident, as she stood shaking her head.
“It’s not the that they took money,” she said, “now we have to invest in a serious high-tech security system and we’re ย getting on a roll business wise,” she said exasperated by the ordeal.
The thieves made of with an approximately $140.00 in coins, according to Gigante, “they even took ย the safe the change was in,”she said, explaining the circumstances of the overnight break in.

Angelo’s Place opened in April, is owned by the Gigante family who used to run the very popular Bristol Borough Italian food eatery “Angelo’s Pizza” on Mill St. years ago.
The family jumped at the opportunity to open up on Mill St again when the space they currently occupy became available late last winter.

“We love the borough, but this you don’t ย expect, you can’t plan for this kind of experience,” Gigante said as she drove off on her way to her second job.
If you saw any suspicious behavior in and around the area on Sunday night going into Monday morning you are asked to please call the Bristol Borough Police Department at 215 788-7813 and ask to speak with an officer.
Angelo’s Place is open everyday day 6 a.m. -4 p.m. ย and is expanding business hours, starting next week as they add a dinner menu and hold a Grand Re-Opening party set for July 5th.
