
The Pennsbury School Board recently approved taking out an $8.5 bond to cover the price tag of capital projects and other expenses, according to PhillyBurbs.com.
The bond has interests rates of 0.3 percent to 4.0 percent and has to be re-payed in the next 20 years, the website reports.

Bonds are attractive to local governing agencies at the moment due to historically low rates spurred by the economic crisis.
